“These pieces are practical in real life and created by the designer to make the wearer stand out in a profound way.”

What we saw in this collection.
Color against playfully shaped neutrals. Sure color is great when partnered with neutrals but it comes to life when the neutrals take shapes. Short practical garments envisioned for today’s vibe. Colorful crossbody bags and a color block seasonal signature tote. Jackets. The long sleeved and short sleeved jacket will add volumes of value to an existing wardrobe, transitioning from day to evening quite simply. These pieces are practical in real life and created by the designer to make the wearer stand out in a profound way.
What we love.
Call it coral, call it tomato stain, we call it cool. We’re talking about the one pair of shorts in this runway collection that everyone will love and want for SS2019. They offer a subdued pop of color for every wardrobe and universally is the one staple you should desire most. The second pair of shorts you need are the hound’s tooth, glen plaid, and white polka dot shorts. Somehow they just work even paired with strips of color. The signature tote. Why? It’s alive with color. For the color-fragile wardrobe builder, it’s a great first or second foray into multi-color accessories. The cool-warm-neutral exchange. Working color around shapes, patterns, and around other colors can end in tragedy. This designer pulls it off brilliantly. The neutral proper pieces. The shift dress, pantsuit and shorts.
Have a beautiful and successful week!
